Vincenzo Italiano’s Bologna returns to victory, beating Marco Baroni’s Torino 1-2 away and regaining the three points in the championship exactly one month later. All the goals of the match were scored in the second half, with Vlasic’s own goal and Castro’s goal for Bologna, interspersed with an empty goal from Torino’s number 10 himself. The match begins in a climate of protest from the organized Granata supporters, who deserted their presence in the stands of the Olimpico Grande Torinò in protest against the club and the president Urbano Cairo. On the pitch, however, balance reigns supreme, with many technical errors on the part of the two teams. There were several interruptions in the game and the first offensive flashes that only arrived at the end of the half: in the 41st minute Bernardeschi let loose a shot from the right which was well blocked by Paleari and, a few minutes later, Rowe attempted a dribble and a curling shot which ended up just wide. At the end of the interval Baroni tries to give his team a shock, introducing Zapata and Lazaro in place of Adams and Aboukhlal to change the momentum of the match.
In the 4th minute of the second half, however, Bologna took the lead, thanks to yet another initiative by Rowe who put in a ball deflected decisively by Vlasic. Own goal for the Torino player, who however makes up for it in the 62nd minute: Zapata’s shot initially rejected by Skorupski and a winning tap-in by the Croatian attacking midfielder who brings the score to 1-1. A draw that would last only eight minutes, because Bologna took the lead again, finding the new advantage following Bernardeschi’s suggestion and Castro’s turn. Seventh seal in the championship for the Argentine and everything to do again for Torino, looking for a nervous shock that did not arrive thanks also to the final management of the rossoblu, who thus achieved the victory at the end of the five minutes of injury time conceded by Fourneau.
