“Now I can’t wait for her to come back, I want to hold her for at least two days.” This was told to ANSA by the mother of a student from Catanzaro who was stuck in Dubai among the group of 200 Italian students after leaving Abu Dhabi airport after 1pm. «They were transferred this morning by bus from Dubai – says the woman – and are returning on a scheduled flight.
«My daughter – he added – is fine. Last night she went down a couple of times into the bunkers created in underground car parks for the alarms, but there were no consequences in the hotel where they are located. The tutors at Wsc Italia – World Student Connection Global were fantastic, they were there for every minute of my time in Dubai. In the hotel, however, the structure only provided accommodation and breakfast. They made do with deliveries as they couldn’t go out.”
