For some time now, politicians have spoken with great knowledge about work and sacrifices. Of a production system that remains standing thanks also to road transport which represents 80% of the distribution of goods. A sector that is now on its knees due to unsustainable fuel costs. The situation is dramatic, in Calabria and in the rest of the country. The increase in the price of diesel, which has already reached out-of-control levels for months, has pushed Trasportounito to proclaim a 5-day national strike, from today until Saturday 25 April, with the possibility of further shutdowns if concrete solutions are not adopted. A long shadow, which could paralyze logistics and threaten the distribution of essential goods such as food and medicines.
