Lorenzo Musetti and Luciano Darderi advance to the third round of the Italian Internationals. The Carrarino, the reigning semi-finalist, eliminated the French Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in two sets with a score of 6-4 6-4 and earned the third round with the Argentine Francisco Cerundolo. “It wasn’t an easy match to prepare because Mpetshi Perricard is a very difficult opponent. The heavy pitch favored me a bit in response and I managed to play as I wanted. I didn’t see many positive things, I can certainly improve for the next matches”, Musetti’s words in the on-pitch interview.

Luciano Darderi also comes forward. Seeded number 18 in the draw, the Italian-Argentine defeats the German Yannick Hanfmann in two sets: 6-4 6-4 the score in favor of Darderi, who will compete for a place in the round of 16 with the American Tommy Paul.
