«Lamezia Terme is experiencing one of the emptiest, most inconclusive and immobile administrative phases of recent years. While the city awaits concrete answers on essential services, the organisation’s accounting, social policies and planning, a worrying administrative silence reigns in the city hall. The council commissions, which should represent the heart of institutional discussion and administrative activity, are almost entirely at a standstill; not convened, completely paralyzed and in fact they do not produce, they do not face problems and they do not plan anything”.
A harsh and strong complaint against an administration, elected a year ago, and which has never started working at full capacity; thumbs down also against municipal bodies which, adapting to the general trend, do little or nothing. The gravity of the situation that has arisen in the municipal chambers of via Perugini is highlighted in no uncertain terms by a group of opposition city councilors: Bernadette Serratore (To live well), Annita Vitale (Action), Fabrizio Muraca, Gennarino Masi and Lidia Vescio of the Democratic Party.
