The team of strategic consultants of mayoral candidate Marcello Scurria is enriched with four new elements. Presented today during a press conference were Marzia Villari, Valentina Valenti and Rosario Marchesi, Agostino Ecora.

MARZIA VILLARI

Marzia Villari is a professional in the agri-food sector with transversal skills in strategy, business communication, territorial development and operational management. Graduated in Economics and Business Management from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan and specialized in Corporate Communication and Public Relations at LUMSA in Rome, she has built her own path between agricultural enterprise, innovation and valorisation of supply chains.
In 2013 he founded the Villarè Agricultural Company, a multifunctional reality active in organic agriculture, outdoor education, experiential tourism and the transformation of agricultural products. He has also collaborated with innovative agricultural companies involved in the development of tropical fruit growing in Sicily, contributing to operational coordination activities, institutional communication and strategic positioning.
His work focuses on the construction of sustainable, competitive and territorially rooted agri-food models, with particular attention to innovation, the short supply chain, the communication of agricultural value and the development of projects for the sector.

VALENTINA VALENTI

Valentina Valenti, founder of the “Velentina” association, a youth cultural revolution movement for awareness-raising activities on the needs of quadriplegics and the very seriously ill at the highest institutional bodies. The association deals with rehabilitation, as a necessary and indispensable tool to improve life. He collaborates with Simfer (Italian Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) and with Fiaba (Italian Architectural Barriers Fund). She was a leading member of the Council on Disabilities at the Lazio Region and a member of the Permanent Council on Disabilities at the Ministry of Public Function.

MARQUIS ROSARY

Rosario Marchese, Rear Admiral of the Port Authority Corps in auxiliary position. Graduated in law and holds the legal profession qualification. Advisor to the Minister for Civil Protection and Maritime Policies. Member of the board of directors of the National Inter-university Consortium for Marine Sciences. Judge, arbitrator and member of the board of directors and judge of the “International Nautical Arbitration Chamber”. Full professor of navigation law, international maritime law and transport economics at the Mediterranean Academy of Logistics and Merchant Navy based in Catania. International instructor certified in port security “Port and ship security”. President of the National Association “Consilium Maris” Network of legal professionals, experts in maritime law. Member of the Roman Committee of the Italian Maritime Law Association. Sole contact person for maritime law of the Study Center of the National Forensic Network, Sicily territorial section based in Palermo. Member of the steering committee of the degree course in navigation science and technology at the University of Messina.

AGOSTINO ECORA

Entrepreneur active in the field of industrial supplies, developer of assistance solutions for companies. Owner of the “Ecora” company, founded in 1927 as an industrial supply shop. Initially, the activity of this business concerned exclusively spare parts and supplies covered the marine, oil and citrus sectors.
With the explosion of construction, the company specialized in spare parts and sophisticated machinery increasingly tailored to customer needs.
The structural and managerial plasticity of the company differentiates it, moving it further and further away from a simple commercial activity; in fact, to keep up with the times and to respect the customer’s needs, a workshop for pneumatic cylinders and linear guides was created in the same structure and also by perpetuating that method of adaptation the company managed to reformulate the purchasing policy by opening up to the global market. He is the inventor, with his team, of the Arlix bicycle, award-winning and unique in the world. He works actively in the aerospace industry with the design and study of the movement of antennas for satellite connections.
