Raul Fernandez wins the MotoGP sprint race at Mugello. The Spanish rider from the Aprilia-Trackhouse team prevailed at the end of Saturday’s test, ahead of his compatriot Jorge Martin, riding the official Aprilia.
Completing the podium was Fabio Di Giannantonio, representative of the Ducati-VR46 team, who put in a solid performance on the Tuscan circuit.
Bezzecchi fourth but remains leader
Marco Bezzecchi concluded at the foot of the podium, finishing the Sprint Race in fourth position. A result which still allows the Italian driver to maintain the leadership of the world rankings.
The race confirmed the excellent moment of the Aprilias, capable of occupying the first two positions at the finish line thanks to the performances of Fernandez and Martin in front of the Mugello crowd.
