Barcelona, ​​Open City opens to a constructive collaboration with Scolaro: «We will vote for what is useful to the city»

While in the Democratic Party we await the recomposition of the division that opened up on the hypothesis of an administrative alliance with possible entry into the council, the Open City Movement is open, under certain conditions, to a constructive collaboration with the mayor Melangela Scolaro. In a statement, the movement represented in the council by Antonio Mamì and Raffaella Campo and a fundamental part of the centre-left coalition, stated that it «welcomes with a sense of responsibility the willingness to discuss and collaborate shown by the new mayor.

«We consider this opening – he explains – as a recognition of the value and credibility of our political project. Faced with the particularly critical situation in which Barcelona finds itself – underlines the civic movement – our group has chosen to be a serious, responsible and constructive force”. Città Aperta therefore declares itself “ready to share the actions and measures that we deem useful for the city, also urging the programmatic points to be implemented and we will do so without filling government positions”.
