Charles Leclerc ends up on the wall again. The Ferrari driver, after the accident in Monte-Carlo, also ended up in the barriers at the start of Q3 of the Formula 1 Catalan Grand Prix.

The Monegasque, despite the strong impact, does not appear to have suffered any serious consequences and in tomorrow’s race he will be forced to start from tenth place.

This incident led to the display of the red flag and, consequently, the suspension of qualifying. As soon as Leclerc’s car is removed from the gravel, the hunt for pole position will resume.

The Ferrari driver’s outburst

«Morally I am very ashamed. They were difficult weekends for reasons I know. There was so much confidence in the changes we made. I have no words after a qualification like that, I just feel ashamed. The potential for pole was there, as was the feeling with the car. I tried to do something different in Turn 4, but there are no excuses. I feel sorry for the fans. Victory would be the least I could do to apologize.”

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc said this to Sky Sport at the end of qualifying for the Catalan Grand Prix.
