George Russell (Mercedes) will start in pole position in the Barcelona GP, seventh round of the F1 World Championship. The Briton, who set the best time in qualifying with 1:14.679, will have Lewis Hamilton alongside him on the front row in the Ferrari.
Second row for the world championship leader, Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) and for Lando Norris (McLaren). Fifth time and third row for Max Verstappen (Red Bull).
Leclerc crashes in Q3 and will start tenth
Charles Leclerc went off the track at the start of Q3, hitting the barriers and with his Ferrari he will start from tenth position
Hamilton was only 64 thousandths behind his compatriot from Mercedes, while the other occupants of the front rows remained between three and four tenths, including Isack Hadjar, in the second Red Bull.
The fourth row will be occupied by Oscar Piastri (McLaren, +411 thousandths) and Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls, +1”863), the fifth by Nico Hulkenberg (Audi, +1”978) and Leclerc.
