The world of Cosenza Calcio loses one of its best-known and most passionate fans. Tonino Tocci, a historic presence following the rossoblù and a point of reference for entire generations of supporters, has died at the age of 78.
For decades Tocci accompanied the Wolves at home and away, experiencing all the club’s seasons up close, from promotions to the most difficult moments, without ever losing his support for the rossoblù colours.
His passion for Cosenza has made him one of the most recognizable faces of the city’s fans. In the most complicated periods of the club’s history he did not fail to make his contribution, confirming an attachment that went far beyond sporting results. With the passing of Tonino Tocci, the city loses one of its most authentic fans. The memory of his love for Cosenza will remain linked to the recent history of the team and its fans.
Among the most heartbroken Cosenza supporters is the other historic supporter Elio Principato, who shared every centimeter of rossoblù air with Tocci: “A great friend of mine is leaving.”
