The second vice-presidency of the City Council is still at stake. There will be no surprise as to which political force will grab the “third seat”.
The majority that supports the mayor Federico Basile, made up of South calls North and related symbols, has no intention of leaving the “box” to the opposition.
The bureau will be entirely made up of representatives of the party that won the elections. It’s just a matter of finding an internal balance, choosing the name. And the meetings follow one another.
The second vice of president Massimo Minutoli – after the election of the outgoing president Nello Pergolizzi – could be the councilor Antonella Feminò, with a good electoral consensus and remaining outside the “circle” of the group leaders. A few more days to decide and arrive unitedly at the moment of voting.
Meanwhile, the necessary steps are being taken in the City Council to quickly get to the heart of the “real” work
After the installation session of last July 5th, during which the swearing-in of the municipal councilors, the subrogations of the designated councilors and the obligations required by law took place, the president Massimo Minutoli called an extraordinary and urgent session for today at 3pm. On the agenda is the establishment of the permanent council commissions pursuant to article 55 of the chamber regulations. They should take place from Monday to Thursday.
