A morning of tenderness and solidarity involved the pediatric department of the hospital, where the municipal nursery and the voluntary association IPF – Institute for the Family delivered gifts to the hospitalized children.

Educators and volunteers brought soft toys, illustrated books and small games, designed to give a moment of lightness to the little patients. Each gift was accompanied by a smile, a caress and words of encouragement also addressed to the parents, often affected by the worries of the hospital stay.

“It’s a simple way to tell families that we are close to them,” explained the educators. The IPF volunteers reiterated the importance of human closeness: “A kind word can become precious support.”

The healthcare staff gratefully welcomed the initiative, underlining how much these gestures contribute to making the hospital environment more peaceful.

A short visit, but full of meaning: a sign of attention and affection that reminds us how the community can become a family, especially in the most delicate moments.
