They gathered into a committee. To accompany change, avoid conflicts and above all build conditions for real and sustainable integration. They are the Roma citizens residing in Scordovillo, involved in the project “Weaves – We live in the Lamezzo area”which aims to definitively overcome a condition of housing and social marginality that has persisted for over forty years. It is not just a representative body, explain the promoters, «but the outcome of a months-long process, built through constant work of coordination, accompaniment and advocacy, carried out by the coordinators Angela Muraca and Fabio Saliceti, together with Roma operators and mediators. A process that made possible the transition from a condition of exclusion to a first structured form of participation.”
