Prestigious recognition for Alessandro Fortino, graduated in Modern Philology at the University of Calabria with 110 cum laude, who was awarded the America Giovani Award promoted by the Italy USA Foundation. The delivery ceremony took place at the Chamber of Deputies, in the presence of representatives of the academic and institutional world.

The prize for young university talents

The America Youth Award for university talent is an initiative that every year valorizes a thousand new graduates from Italian universities who have distinguished themselves for merit and excellent academic results. The objective is to concretely support young people in their entry into the world of global work and international relations.

The recognition is accompanied by the more well-known America Award, intended for personalities of clear international fame. The winners are selected directly by the Italy USA Foundation, in collaboration with Italian universities, through a careful evaluation of parameters such as degree score, exam average, age at which the degree was obtained, experiences abroad and study curriculum.

An acknowledgment of merit and commitment

With this important milestone, Alessandro Fortino becomes part of the network of young Italian excellences who stand out for their commitment, competence and international vision. To each awardee, the Foundation also offers the opportunity to participate free of charge in the Master in “Leadership for international relations and Made in Italy”, created with the patronage of UNRIC – United Nations Regional Information Center and with a panel of over 35 internationally prestigious teachers.

The award represents a symbolic and educational recognition, aimed at enhancing the new generations and promoting the role of young Italian talents in global challenges and international careers.
