Acquitted because the fact does not exist. This is the formula used by the Court of Vibo Valentia which thus closed an investigation that aimed to shed light on the appointment of the director of the single health district of the ASP. Thus the charge of complicity in abuse of office is dropped (without the help of the Nordio reform which recently repealed the crime) against the then general director of the ASP of Vibo Valentia, Angela Caligiuri, 69 years old, of Savelli (Kr), and of the then health director of the ASP, Michelangelo Miceli, 70 years old, of Vibo Valentia.

The members of an examining commission were also acquitted with them: Salvatore Barillaro63 years old, originally from Marina di Gioiosa Ionica but resident in Gallico; Sergio D’Ippolito72 years old, from Crotone; Davide Matalone, 49 years old, from Miletus.

The same pm, Filomena Aliberti, at the end of the preliminary hearing, he had asked for the acquittal of the accused in a broad formula. At the center of the process is the assignment of the role of director of the single provincial health district (which replaced the districts of Vibo, Serra and Tropea) following the completion of the tender which provided for the selection by the Commission of a trio of candidates to be proposed to the general director of the ASP for choosing the winner.
