A pensioner, FG, aged around 75, fell from an olive tree this morning while he was busy harvesting the fruit, hitting the ground violently and suffering serious trauma to his head and shoulder. The incident occurred around 8am, in a location adjacent to the Limpidi cemetery, a hamlet where the man lives with his family. Once the emergency services were alerted, a 118 ambulance arrived on site, whose team had already alarmed the air ambulance, and, having given first aid, transported the injured man to the Acquaro sports field, where he was picked up by the air ambulance and transported to the Puglia area of ​​Catanzaro.
