A forty-six year old Alessandro Cataldo, was murdered this evening in front of a pizzeria in the port area of Cetraro by a killer armed with a gun. The hitman acted together with an accomplice with whom after the ambush he disappeared in a car. Once the alarm was raised, patrols from the police station and 118 health workers arrived on the scene: however, when help arrived, the 46-year-old was already dead. The man had had legal problems in the past. Investigators heard from some people who were a short distance from the scene of the ambush. The direction of the investigations was assumed by the Paola prosecutor’s office.
