Annalisa’s eagerly awaited performance monopolized the second evening of the Rds Summer Festival and the many fans were rewarded by the performance of the Ligurian singer who set Piazza Duomo alight. It was the highlight of these two days in Messina: Annalisa, the great protagonist of the current Italian music scene, fills the stage with her beauty, but above all enchants with the precision of her voice and with her incredibly successful songs. An artist of international level (the first Italian to receive the “Global Force Award” at the “Billboard Women in Music” in 2024) who gives Messina three of her latest great successes: “Sincerely”, “My love” and “Beautiful”.
And Messina appreciates, in a Piazza Duomo packed with about fifteen thousand young people (and not only, many adults and families also present) and that continues to dance even after the official end of the evening to the nocturnal notes given by Rds. The organizational machine of the Roman broadcaster is well tested, since the first DJ sets by Ivana Leotta for Radio Studio Centrale and by Rino De Niro for Rds, with the collaboration of the “Crew” of the Messina dance school “Studio danza”.
Like the “Rds Next” project, the social radio of Generation Z, represented in Messina by Samara Tramontana and Gaia Garavagliaa duo highly acclaimed by young people who do not shy away from numerous requests for photos and selfies. On stage the emerging Chiara Accardi and Paraonde and, in the “Enel space” the talented violinist Pierpaolo Foti.
In an evening with a very strong feminine spirit, hosted by Petra Loreggian, the symbolic face of Rds, two women who have been collecting successes and great songs for years: Arisablack dress and enchanting voice, with “Baciami stupido”, “Controvento”, “Meraviglioso amore mio” and “La notte”; Alexandra Lovein jeans and a top, warms the hearts of his many fans with “Fino a qui”, “Stupendo fino a qui”, “Comunque andare” and “Mezzo rotto”.
It’s still AlphaGenoese singer-songwriter who finally exploded in 2023 with “Bellissimissima” and who confirmed himself this year at Sanremo with “Vai!”. A very engaging medley for a talented boy closed by “Vabbè ciao” and “Cin cin”, his first big success. And Alfa will return to Messina in August, to Torre Faro. Clara, the Crazy J of “Mare fuori”another fresh from Sanremo with “Diamanti grèzzi”, also offers “Ragazzi fuori” and “Origami all’alba”, before the feat. of “Ghetto Love” with Icy Subzero, pseudonym of the Roman rapper Matteo D’Alessio, who throws himself into the audience to the notes of “Mujer” and “I can fly”. In the evening with Ligurian traction, also the Genoese Olly with “Polvere”, “Menomale che c’è il mare” and “Devastante”.
Music will return to Messina on July 25 with Gio Evan at Giardino Corallo. In August, then, we return to Capo Peloro with Loredana Bertè (August 2), Alfa (August 22) and Gigi D’Alessio (August 31). Rds, instead, moves to Palmi for the evenings of July 19 and 20 at Piazza Primo Maggio, hosted by Anna Pettinelli.
