Anti -fascist procession in Cosenza on the occasion of the eightieth anniversary of the Liberation. A few hundred people paraded along the streets of the city center, chanting the slogans for peace and “free Palestine”. Present at the event representatives of the CGIL and the basic union union, of Pd, 5 Star Movement, Verdi and Left Alliance, Italian Socialist Party and Communist Refoundation, of the ANPI and various social groups, together with students and citizens. There was also a choral applause in homage to Pope Francis. A feast of memory, accompanied by a message: “continuous resistance, today as then, in the defense of rights and constitution”.
