The beautiful event of sport and colors at the Pietro Mennea School field in Catanzaro has ended and the Francesco Nanci Memorial Sports and Human Promotion Festival Athletics trophy closes with a very positive outcome. Over 200 mini athletes and a notable audience they were the best business card to remember those who loved athletics and had made sporting and human promotion their banner. And it couldn’t be like that. A great memory, an event in memory of Francesco Nanci, athlete-manager-technician, the one who directed his passion and care towards children on the one hand and towards the throwing sector with youth athletes on the other.
His sports club Asd Centro Sportivo Giovanile di Catanzaro Lido, the Calabria Regional Committee of the Italian Athletics Federation, the Libertas APS CALABRIA Regional Committee, the APS CATANZARO Provincial Committee and the Fidal Provincial Committee of Catanzaro, the Asd Azzurro Bonifacio CZ can be considered satisfied with the result which, thanks to the patronage of the Presidency of the Regional Council of Calabria, once again brings many people to the Athletics School Camp to make them understand the importance of this primordial sporting discipline andasks for a system to give the right input and put the Calabrian capital on a par with the various provincial capitals of the other Calabrian cities by equipping itself with a suitable facility for the care of many young and old people who are champions at national and international level with the only flaw of not having an athletics track.
And since Nanci is a great throwing technician, the best technical result comes from the throwing sector, from that vortex preparatory tool for the javelin and strange case from a 10 year old girl from her old club, the Youth Sports Center of Catanzaro Lido, Sara Argirò who throws the tool at over 27 metres.

Many Fidal managers present at the event, as well as the regional President Vincenzo Caira,the Provincial Delegate Giuseppe VERALDIthe regional secretary Libertas Calabria Raoul Elia and many managers of sports clubs and the World Master Walking Champion Edoardo Alfieri who followed with great attention all the kids who tried their hand at the walking sector.
The President of the ASD Youth Sports Center of Catanzaro Lido was very satisfied with the excellent success of the event and at the end of the race he thanked those who collaborated for the success of the event.
