An unusual reason forces a Emergency landing of a Delta flight from Atlanta to Barcelona: “Biohazard problem”, as reported by the American media, citing an audio fragment of the pilot released on social media. Simply put, it was an unfortunate passenger struggling with a violent intestinal problem caused the plane to turn back when there were approximately two hours left until landing.

Also according to the audio, the passenger was unable to contain himself and as a result there were “faeces and an unbearable stench” in the cabin, a passenger told El Mundo. “It’s a biological risk problem – says the pilot during the radio conversation with the control tower – we have a passenger who has been ill and we are asked to go back”. In a statement, Delta cited a medical issue on board and confirmed that Flight 194 from Atlanta to Barcelona returned to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
