His dad has just made time to know him, too little, however, to have memories. Those had to build them step by step through the stories of his mother, from the black and white photos scattered around the house.
And then there are the stories of his father’s colleagues, those who shared with the brigadier Antonino Marino the terrible years of the kidnappings of person in Aspromonte and the fight against clans who poisoned life in the countries of Locride.
Today Francesco Marino dresses the same uniform as the carabinieri of his father“Honor and great burden” for a Son of a military of the weapon, killed by the ‘Ndrangheta on the evening of 9 September 1990 in Bovalino, when Francesco was just a year and a half and his father 30. In that ambush he too were injured and his mother.
