From next Tuesday 4 November and until 6 December, an ordinance from the Local Police command will partially modify traffic in the Lido district and, in particular, on the “Pugliese” seafront at Fiumarella, where the transit ban will be established. The ordinance adopted by the Municipal Police command was necessary to be able to carry out the installation of the steel structure which in recent months was built and assembled in the workshops of the company contracting the works; preparatory structure for the creation of the road plan.
What does the ordinance provide in detail?
From 4 November 2025 to 6 December 2025 the following measures will be adopted:
1. Ban on vehicular transit on the Fiumare-Lungomare Pugliese Bridge;
2. Vehicles traveling in the CORACE-PORTO direction at the Lungomare Pugliese – Via Torrazzo intersection are obliged to turn left onto Via Torrazzo;
3. Vehicles traveling in the PORTO-CORACE direction, considering the interruption of transit on the Fiumarella Bridge, at the Lungomare Pugliese – Via Repubbliche Marinare intersection, can travel along Via Repubbliche Marinare and access Viale Crotone;
4. Establishment of a roundabout on the Lungomare Pugliese at the intersection with Via Barletta, with a ban on parking on both sides for the entire roundabout area, in order to still allow transit in the stretch of the Lungomare between Via Repubbliche Marinare and Via Barletta;
5. Establishment of STOP at the road intersection of Via Barletta – Via Lungomare Pugliese for the flow of vehicles in transit on Via Barletta;
6. Establishment of STOP at the exit of the parking area adjacent to Via Barletta.
