Two men arrested for alleged home invasion in Corigliano Rossano. The officers noticed the two subjects, one of whom is known for numerous police records and already the recipient of a prevention measure from the special surveillance of Public Security, who were wandering around in a car in the historic center of the urban area of Rossano. Their suspicious behavior led the operators to start a remote stalking.
Observation activity which allowed us to identify a house near which the two men entered. With the help of other crews, the area was cordoned off, triggering an intervention after a few minutes as the subjects exited as they attempted to move away.
During the search, some gold jewelery and cash were found inside the car, later ascertained to be the proceeds of the theft which had just taken place in the house into which the two had entered after forcing a window.
Arrested in flagrante delicto, on the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the two were subjected to house arrest awaiting the validation hearing in which the Castrovillari investigating judge validated the provision, ordering the precautionary measure of house arrest for one of the suspects (the one with a criminal and police record), while for the other with no criminal record, immediate release.
