The future of Calabria inevitably passes from the sum of the regional vote. And passes from the choice of the new governor. Three names in the running: Roberto Occhiuto, leader of the moderates, Pasquale Tridico, candidate of the Largo field, and the independent Francesco Toscano. Fifteen lists, eight with the center -right, six with the center -left and the only one in support of Tuscan. Today (from 7 to 23) and tomorrow (from 7 to 15) 1,484,456 Calabrians will be called to the polls in the 2,406 sections (including 11 hospital) spread throughout the region. The eighteen -year -olds will be 18,940 while the Calabrians abroad are 411,296 (which bring, overall, the electoral body to an altitude of 1,895,752 of those entitled).
