The new free course promoted by Calabria Film Commission and Anica Academy ETS starts today, confirming their collaboration and common desire to develop an audiovisual industry in the Calabrian territory capable of attracting productions of national and international importance and investing in young people and professionals.
In fact, the lessons of the Production Course for Cinema and Audiovisual have begun at the Terina Foundation in the Benedict XVI industrial area in Lamezia Terme. The initiative – which will be able to count on the precious collaboration with Lux Vide, excellence in television and film production, and the contribution of Edmondo Amati, General Organizer of the company, who will be part of the Scientific Commission of the Course – aims to train qualified professionals capable of guaranteeing the quality and success of national and international film productions.
Participants in the Film and Audiovisual Production Course, of which Andrea Stucovitz, a well-known film and audiovisual producer, is the Teaching Director, will thus acquire skills to plan and manage film productions, contributing to the development of the regional industry and local executive production opportunities, with attention to the role of Production Inspector. They will also develop the ability to analyze the script, identifying the production needs and necessary resources; they will organize work plans optimizing scenes, environments, times and resources; will use Movie Magic software. Finally, they will gain expertise in the survey and selection of locations, and in managing relationships with suppliers; ability to coordinate different professional figures; a basic knowledge of administration for the management of audiovisual productions.
Finally, on Monday 3 November, the second free training initiative promoted by Calabria Film Commission and Anica Academy will start, namely the “Business in the audiovisual sector” course, which will have the aim of strengthening the local economic fabric, creating an ecosystem of companies capable of offering services to the audiovisual sector and therefore generating employment, related activities and synergies between professionals.
