Calabria, from Mur 19 million for scholarships 2024/2025: total financing of 57.3 million

The Ministry of University and Research has paid 18,827,009.25 euros to the universities of Calabria intended for scholarships for the academic year 2024/2025. The loan derives from the funds of the national recovery and resilience plan.

Among the university of the University of Calabria – Arcavacata di Rende received 11,107,935.46 euros, the University of Reggio Calabria “Mediterranea” 2,259,241.12 euros and the University of Catanzaro “Magna Graecia” 5,271,562.58 euros.

To these are added 38,536,156.51 euros from the FIS (state supplementary fund).

The Calabrian universities received the total sum of 57,363,165.76 euros.

“The strengthening of the right to study is, and it will remain, our priority. We want to guarantee everyone access to the university and offer each one the opportunity to bring out their own talent, regardless of the starting economic conditions”. So the Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini.

“The scholarships represent – continues the minister – the most concrete tool to support deserving students and accompany them in their journey. We will continue to invest in the right to study because we believe in a really open university, capable of enhancing the skills and aspirations of every young man”.

The record financing of resources intended for scholarships for the academic year 2024/2025 amounts to a total of 880 million euros.
