“The cultural, artistic, naturalistic and environmental landscape heritage is the protagonist in national programs and will be throughout 2024. This is the object of the agreement that the Calabria Region stipulated with RaiCom and subsequently with the Calabria Film Commission. The objective of the Region and of President Occhiuto who holds the delegation, is to encourage tourism in Calabria also through the promotion of the Region in national, cultural and entertainment programs that enhance and make people discover the cultural sites and beauties of our land. In this context, on Saturday 23 December, in prime time on Rai 1, the images shot a few days ago at the Cilea Theater in Reggio Calabria which hosted the winners of the Dancing with the Stars dance tournament will be broadcast”.
This is what the vice president of the Calabria Region states in a note, Giusi Princi.
“There were numerous programs that – specified Princi – during the year Rai created as part of this agreement through which, starting from the Metropolitan City, it also has access to the spotlight on the beautiful Reggio Calabria.
With Blue Line, Rai 1, Donatella Bianchi he made the coasts of Reggio Calabria, Palmi and the Menta dam known. The Camper programme, also broadcast on Rai 1, stopped in Reggio, with stops in Mammola, Gerace, Caulonia, Condofuri Marina. Linea Verde, Rai 1, dedicated an entire episode to the Metro City of Reggio, ranging from the coastal part on the Tyrrhenian Sea – the agricultural excellence, with a focus on the production of oil. Uno Mattina in famiglia, Rai 1, reported on the recovery of a centuries-old olive grove in the Mammola countryside. The Geo program, Rai 3, accompanied us on a visit to discover the secrets of the Aspromonte National Park which has become part of the world network of UNESCO geoparks.
Within this agreement, the realization of the next Rai New Year’s Eve with the national lighthouses on Crotone, the city of Pythagoras, is also envisaged. Also in 2024, many Rai television and radio broadcasts will be carried out again which will affect the other Calabrian provinces.
