The president of the Calabria Region Roberto Occhiuto confirmed Luciano Vigna in the role of Chief of Cabinet. The decision comes at the start of the new legislature, after the inauguration of the governor (27 October 2025) and the appointment of the Council (3 November 2025).
Role and motivations
The choice aims to guarantee organizational continuity and speed: Vigna, already with specific experience in Cabinet functions and former general director of Arrical, has given availability with authorization from the president of the Agency.
Transparency and burdens
The assignment does not entail costs for the regional budget. The act will be notified to the competent offices and published on the BURC and on the institutional website, in compliance with the rules on transparency. With this confirmation, the Chief of Cabinet will take care of the President’s institutional relations and the coordination of affairs related to government action, promoting liaison with the council, regional structures and national and local interlocutors.
