Pasquale Tridico dusts off the video in which Giorgia Meloni made fun of him for the proposed exemption from car tax in Calabria and attacks the prime minister: “A sensational about-face.” The former candidate for the presidency of the Calabria Region published a post on social media accompanied by the video, comparing those words with the proposal he attributes today to the Prime Minister.

«Giorgia Meloni’s latest idea to gain consensus is the exemption from road tax for small and medium-sized cars», writes Pasquale Tridico. The reference is to the measure which, he recalls in the post, he had proposed a year ago in Calabria, arousing the irony of the prime minister and the comparison with Cetto La Quale.

It is precisely that passage, shown on video, that is the center of the attack: “A sensational about-face, which demonstrates once again what they are willing to do in order to float.”

Tridico then broadens his criticism of the executive’s actions: «The prime minister’s proposal comes now, after 4 years of disasters. Fortunately, Italians do not forget the trail of problems that this Government leaves behind!
