The initiative, promoted by Captain Pasquale Cuzzola, is now becoming a permanent fixture and has recorded important numbers: in fact, in one day, 36 donations were made, of which 32 were blood and 4 were plasma.
A gesture of great importance that comes from those who, every day, are committed to protecting others.
However, that of November 22nd was not a simple donation. As the “International Day against Violence against Women” approaches, the Carabinieri wanted to provide information and prevention to stem the alarming phenomenon. And so the donors were given information material to be explored and disseminated in order to recognize and counteract the onset of possible dangerous situations in what are defined as toxic relationships.
The commitment and attention of the Army in this area are maximum in all periods of the year both from the point of view of repression and from the very important and fundamental one of knowledge and prevention of the deplorable phenomenon.
