Carlos Alcaraz, his return is approaching: the Spaniard runs without wrist protection

A run without protection on his injured right wrist, which has kept him away from the courts for about two months: it is the first positive sign that, despite the lack of racket, comes from Carlos Alcaraz, the number 2 tennis player in the world, who had to give up Roland Garros and Wimbledon (which will begin on June 29th). In a video posted on social media, the Spaniard – firmly in second place in the rankings behind Jannik Sinner – can be seen running bare-chested together with his athletic trainer Alberto Lledó without wrist protection, which he had used in all his recent public outings. And even Lledó’s words (“The weeks fly by! I can no longer keep up with you”) suggest improvements, particularly in view of August on American hard courts, which will then lead to the last Slam of 2026, at Flushing Meadows.
