The carabinieri of the Santo Stefano d’Aspromonte station would have identified the managers of the fire which, the night between 2 and 3 March, destroyed the car of Don Vincenzo Attisanothe parish priest of the country. Following the investigations in the area and thanks, above all, to the cameras present in the area, the investigators are closing the circle on an affair that has shaken the community of the town in the province of Reggio Calabria. Don Attisano’s car, a Jeep Avenger, was on the flames while it was parked a few meters of the church with an adjoining canonical. The place is not covered by cameras and is located in a crossbar of the main road, a few hundred meters from the central square of Santo Stefano and the barracks.

In these hours, the investigators are verifying the young man’s alibi, while the second suspected one would have been identified. What is certain, at the moment, is that there would be no involvement of local crime. Rather, the investigators are feeling some people who gravitate around the church and, in addition to possible disagreements that could have led to the fire of the parish priest’s car, a vein of the investigations focuses on some circumstances relating to the football field near the parish and, in particular, to the dynamics of an under 19 team, established in Santo Stefano d’Aspromonte by Don Vincenzo Attisano.
