Two fronts in turmoil at Palazzo De Nobili. That of the government coalition, which wants to reorganize itself after the exit of Action from the perimeter of the majority (which will have to do calculations to verify its actual existence) and that of the centre-right opposition which, so far, has operated in no particular order.
Yesterday morning at the Municipality was a day of confrontation for the forces that support the Fiorita administration. An “ordinary” meeting, as happens every week, but of which little was revealed, except that everything took place in a relaxed atmosphere. The idea, already announced by the mayor himself, is to move forward. The underlying reasoning is that, in any case, the administration started in mid-2022 without having an effective majority consistency: in the chamber the ball was held by the varied opposing coalition, led by Valerio Donato who, despite belonging to a left-wing history, had led a clearly centre-right group; in the camp of the moderates they traveled on their own the area headed by Antonello Talerico (who had supported Fiorita in the run-off) and the one he supported Wanda Ferro.
In fact, the situation has returned to the starting point, without the support of Talerico, whose area, which grew in the first two years with the entry of councilors from Donato’s coalition, was then fragmented with the regional councilor returning to Forza Italia (also in the group) together with Francis Assisi.
