Ultimately, the city council met, discussed and decided on the city’s new hospital. Or rather: he expressed his opinion on what should be the location of a hypothetical new hospital in the regional capital, approving the agenda which was the basis of the request of seven councilors from various sides. As in 2016, therefore, the Aula Rossa chose to confirm the Pugliese-Ciaccio area as the one designated to host the possible new city hospital.
But the debate was neither devoid of voices, nor devoid of specifics, distinctions and clarifications with respect to such a clear position as that required by the agenda. But the numbers are already enough to describe the political split across the various groups that make up the City Council: 17 in favour, 11 abstentions.
