Once the period of suspension of administrative activity caused by the electoral campaign has been archived, the process that will lead to the entry into force of the municipal structural plan resumes.
The very long process – which was literally blocked for years – has experienced an acceleration under the guidance of the deputy mayor and delegate for Urban Planning Giusy Iemma, so much so that a few months ago the Municipality formally accepted the observations on the preliminary document presented by the professional associations.
But before the next official steps, there will be one that is as informal as it is important. This is a purely political step that concerns the majority in the municipal government, which will have to discuss the document to be submitted for approval by Nicola Fiorita’s council.
The executive’s approval will be followed by another technical step: the document will be sent to the first council commission, chaired by Gregorio Buccolieri, to be evaluated and approved.
