The City Council, scheduled for next January 3rd, as established by the Conference of Group Leaders of last December 23rd and aimed at conferring honorary citizenship on HE Cardinal Don Mimmo Battaglia, has been postponed to a date between the end of February and the beginning of March of the new year to allow the widest participation of the Authorities involved.
In recent days the electoral commission had given the green light to conferring honorary citizenship on the Cardinal and Metropolitan Archbishop of Naples, Monsignor Domenico Battaglia, who will be awarded the honor on the occasion of a solemn ceremony in the red hall of Palazzo de Nobili.
