After the great success of last year, the “Associazione Grimaldi Conidi” Aps, in collaboration with Luxury Event, is pleased to announce that on 5 and 6 January, from 5pm to 11pm, it will recreate the magic of the living nativity scene in the heart of the historic center of Catanzaro.
Palazzo Grimaldi-Conidi, in fact, will be transformed for the second edition into a “Medieval Living Nativity Scene”, in a unique scenario never experienced until now.
The Nativity tradition will be set against the backdrop of ancient popular crafts and cultural traditions.
On a journey inside the Grimaldi-Conidi Palace, in the ancient stables, the ancient crafts will be represented live with re-enactments of flesh and blood figuresin authentic costumes, with the Nativity at the centre, a gathering point with the call of a large star, in the heart of the capital, as if driven by a breath of love for authentic and beautiful things.
In the nativity scene you can admire extraordinary local arts such as those of the weaver, the knife grinder, the blacksmith, the canister, the housewives and many other trades.
While waiting for the arrival of the Three Kings who will bring the ancient gifts of Gold, Incense and Myrrh to Baby Jesus, a magical atmosphere will reign, to the joy of adults and children.
