At least 32 people were injured in the collision between a oil tanker and a cargo in the North Sea. The British port authority made it known.

The Coast Guard fears that the clash has also caused a polluting load loss. “An assessment of the response that will probably make itself necessary for pollution” of the waters off Yorkshire, has reported a spokesperson for the coast guard, is underway.

The collision alarm was launched at 09:48 GMT (10:48 in Italy). The images of the BBC show a huge plume of black smoke and flames that rise from the place of the accident. Several people abandoned the boats following the collision.
