Tragic road accident yesterday afternoon in Corigliano Rossano, in which a man lost his life. This would be a citizen of a foreign nationality.
Most likely he is a 50-year-old Romanian citizen, but the competent authorities are working to trace and ascertain the identity of the victim.
The first news received on the incident is fragmentary, especially regarding the identity of the victim, but also the dynamics of the fatal accident. The accident occurred in the “Mezzofato” district, in the urban area of Corigliano and it seems that the man was alone in the car at the time of the accident. As far as we know, no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
According to a first summary reconstruction of the dynamics of the accident, everything would have happened following the fact that the man would have lost control of the vehicle and thus ended up off the road. The causes that led to the loss of control of the vehicle are yet to be ascertained.
