Slowly, but things are getting back to normal, even though it is still an emergency and many taps are still dry.
Mayor Flavio Stasi returns to update the citizens of Corigliano Rossano regarding the water emergency that is gripping Corigliano Rossano in a grip of inconvenience. After many hours of work, following the long repair work carried out on Schiavonea, which ended in the late afternoon of the day before yesterday, the systems are all correctly functioning. The situation is therefore gradually returning to normal in most of the neighborhoods. Critical issues are still reported in the highest points of the Corigliano station (via Casa della chiesa, the area upstream of via Fontanelle, etc.): in these cases, the recovery will take place in the next few hours, when the network will be fully under pressure again.
The mayor enters and also credit for some particular situations that have caused the water shortage in these hours. “We are recording – explained Mayor Stasi via social media – some “anomalous” reports of lack of water in individual buildings, especially in Schiavonea. These are cases in which the interruption and resumption at full capacity has clogged the individual connections. For this reason, there is still a lack of water even where the network is clearly under pressure”.
