The political and legal battle against the merger of the now extinct municipalities of Corigliano and Rossano reaches the Council of State. Last October 30, in fact, the Committee against the merger filed with the Council of State the appeal against the ruling of the TAR which last summer had declared inadmissible the appeal presented by the committee for the return of autonomy to the now decayed autonomous municipalities of Corigliano Calabro and Rossano. After the appeal is filed, a hearing for discussion should be set for the end of this year. Therefore, the battle carried out by the Committee against the merger does not stop, which as is known, has collected more than 7000 signatures among the citizens of the extinct municipality of Corigliano Calabro and the extinct municipality of Rossano, reviving the discontent of those who had voted yes in the referendum for the merger, but also of those who have always been against the “marriage” between the two municipalities.
