The just concluded electoral round has left bitterness within the local centre-left parties which supported the candidacy for the presidency of the Region of the MEP Pasquale Tridico, including the Democratic Party where, from opposite latitudes within, while satisfaction was expressed for the election of Rosellina Madeo, current president of the municipal council at Palazzo Campanella, the criticism towards the current leadership for the results of the local party which also in this circumstance showed its state of internal divisions.
