The revolt has started. The new hospital will not be able to ignore the capital. And it will have to be implemented taking into account the existing situation. A part of the citizens is against the closure of the Annunziata and the construction of a hospital near the university.
The diktat was expressed publicly yesterday afternoon by the “No Snatching” committee which, with the full support of the Municipality’s Commerce Council, led by Maria Grazia Cavaliere, expressed the firmest opposition to the project to move the new hub hospital from Cosenza to Arcavacata.
According to the Committee and the Trade Council, the decision represents an act of serious penalization for the capital city and for the entire urban economic and social system.
