Corigliano, the 16-year-old who had not given any news for over a week was found during the night

The missing minor in the Cosentino area has been found. The frenetic search activities carried out by the Carabinieri of the Territorial Department of Corigliano Rossano, with the coordination of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Castrovillari, directed by the chief prosecutor Alessandro D’Alessio, allowed us to track down the 16-year-old during the night who had not given any news of herself for over a week. The case had put the girl’s parents and relatives in an understandable state of apprehension who, just yesterday evening, had relaunched heartfelt appeals through the media and social networks to request any possible help to trace their relative. A delicate situation, made even more urgent by the concrete danger to which the girl was exposed due to the interruption of a “pharmacological therapy” which, inevitably, had not been followed for days. The disappearance, which left the entire community in suspense for over a week, fortunately had its positive epilogue in the early hours of the night, when the interested party was tracked down in an apartment in the Scalo in the urban area of ​​Corigliano. The activities to search for the minor began in the phases immediately following the disappearance report presented by her parents, but the checks carried out at the homes of friends, abandoned farmhouses and other places where she could be traced had always given negative results, until, as part of the search strategy implemented by the Carabinieri, the girl was found in good health. Before taking the right track, the military also explored other hypotheses, including that of the possible transfer to another Region, which arose after the report received by the investigators which had placed the presence of the girl, on the very day of her disappearance, near the station railway of the Corigliano airport.
