Last day of rest for the rossoblù group after the training camp in Umbria. The silanes, who will show up in the city, will be heading towards tomorrow the highlight of the pre-season phase since in order they will face two Serie A teams: Frosinone, in a friendly match at the “Stirpe” (Saturday 5 August), and Sassuolo, for their official debut in the Italian Cup (Saturday 13 August). They should be the last two significant tests before the start of the championship, still shrouded in numerous doubts in this troubled summer for the league managed by Mauro Balata. The squad still needs various precautions, as also emerged during the first summer tests held in Bastia, Umbria and Gubbio.

Market

Cosenza in the last few hours has added another player from Benevento in their sights. After Richard Improtathe rossoblù have added to their list too Mattia Vivianimidfielder who Fabio Caserta he knows well having already trained him in the Samnite club. The Brescian midfielder born in 2000 can be useful in directing and passing the ball. The Silan coach prefers to play the ball intelligently and the arrival of the 23-year-old former Brescia player could be the case for the Silanes both as an alternative to Calò but also as an option alongside the Trieste player. Meanwhile, the Brescian took the field in the first half of yesterday’s friendly match at the Park Hotel against Olimpus Roma. With one year left on his contract, Viviani could leave the Samnites on similar terms to Improta. However, President Vigorito’s Giallorossi would like to reserve a percentage for him on future resale, as anticipated by colleagues from “Il Mattino”.
The Silano sports director Gemmi also keeps Improta on his agenda: the ductile winger from Pozzuoli is among the players included in Benevento’s landing list and, contrary to Viviani, he remained out of yesterday’s test of Matteo Andreoletti’s formation. His future won’t be in Serie C with President Vigorito’s team but his substantial signing still remains a crucial issue to be resolved. The Sorcerers, with whom he is under contract until next June, do not appear at all willing to recognize the incentive to leave. It therefore remains to be evaluated whether the position of the bells will soften over the days. Should this not be the case, to put an end to the experience in Sannio it will be up to the player, his agent and Gemmi to pigeonhole the numbers correctly to make them balance, possibly also increasing the feasibility of the operation through a three-year proposal (the player, who has the approval of Caserta, will celebrate its 30 years on December 19th: ndc). From the week that opens today, there could also be news regarding other operations which have not been finalized despite the work done previously.
