The irreducible boss leaves prison. Over eighty years old, Franco Perna returns home after three decades of detention, a large part spent under special regime and two life sentences. The assignment to home detention was granted to the godfather of Cosenza for serious health reasons. Perna was sentenced to the maximum punishment foreseen by our system because he was believed to have instigated the ambush that cost the life of the director of the Bruzio prison, Sergio Cosmai, on 12 March 1985. The state official suffered the fury of the assassins along the avenue that today bears his name.
