Next Friday 21 November at 1.30 pm, in the headquarters of the Prefecture of Catanzaro, the territorial secretariats of CGIL, CISL, UIL, UGL and the categories SLC CGIL, FISTEL CISL, UILCOM UIL, UGL Telecommunications will meet the Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council with responsibility for Policies for the South, Luigi Sbarra, to discuss the Telecontact dispute, in the presence of the prefect Castrese De Rosa.
The meeting with Undersecretary Sbarra – who immediately made the trade unions available – is part of the process aimed at building an institutional network to support the dispute, which involved the municipal administration, the Calabria Region and the prefect De Rosa, who with great sensitivity wanted to encourage this meeting.
The initiative takes on a particularly significant character in the perspective of involving the national government in identifying solutions aimed at protecting workers and safeguarding employment levels, put at risk by a corporate operation that risks having heavy employment and economic repercussions, particularly in the Catanzaro area.
