The new move by the TPL Bus Consortium to acquire the services currently provided came like a bolt from the blue. Two weeks after the expiry of the further (and last, perhaps) extension of the provisional exercise and while the Region and Cometra were finalizing the final details in view of the acquisition of the mobility company in the capital, the expression of interest from the Tpl Autolinee Consortium arrived on the desk of the bankruptcy trustee Fernando Caldiero. The offer is 2 million and 100 thousand euros. This is what the Tpl business branch of Amaco has been assessed by the Autolinee Consortium. The news has thrown into turmoil the unions who had already rejected months ago the initiative of the group led by Rocco Carlomagno interested in the acquisition of Amaco, so much so that it forced the Autolinee Consortium to withdraw the offer and turn around.
